1998 Larson SEI 176 Bowrider

Larson revived its Flyer nameplate for the Larson Flyer 176 Bowrider I-O. It features wood-free construction and the Larson Americore II hull composite process. The floor and stringer system are a single, molded fiberglass part, bonded directly to the hull to create a structure that's stronger, lighter and more durable than traditional wood floor and stringer systems. A sport interior is standard on the 176 with a full width swim platform, a fully upholstered padded sundeck, a bench seat aft, over the engine compartment, and bucket seats at the console. Composite components in the interior are molded from recycled materials and incorporate items like drink holders and storage compartments. The fully upholstered sundeck pad above the full stern bench gives the sun-lovers a 7-foot stretch of comfort. The Flyer series uses the same top-grade, 34 oz. mega-vinyl as the SEI and LXI full-featured runabouts. The raked, vortex windscreen sweeps air over the cockpit for a quiet ride at high speed. An under-seat ski-rack, board locker, complete instrumentation and AM - FM cassette stereo are all standard. Options include a curved glass windshield, tilt steering, a ski pylon and a Clarion stereo upgrade. The Flyer 176 has up to 190 horsepower available I-O or a 215 horsepower Volvo jet.
